Alicia Keys is getting candid.
The ‘No One’ singer has just revealed what happened to her J. Cole collaboration that was supposed to appear on her upcoming ‘KEYS’ album.

During her interview with Complex’s ‘360 with Speedy Morman,’ she said of their studio sessions:
“That’s the first time we connected. He came through, he happened to be in the same place. We were talking, we were conversating, building…And then we just kinda happened to fall on some vibes or some things or some flows.”
While the pair recorded “two or three” songs together, she is unsure where they will end up, saying:
“We’ll see what happens.”
She was then asked if the songs will eventually see the light of day or be kept in the vault, she said:
“It’s really possible. It’s good too. I liked it and it was easy, it was fluid.”
Recently, Keys shared the tracklist for her project, which is due out on December 10.

Alicia is the Queen of not putting out collars she feels outshined on HINTS: Put It In A Love Song video with Beyoncé. Never dropped because Beyoncé stole the entire video. I’m sure the songs with J. Cole are hot and he probably stole the songs with his verse and she ain’t like it lol
The record label makes those decisions. If the label likes it, it gets released. It’s not a partnership. Artists are contractual employees.
